Early Arrivals, Thursday 8th March 2018 : Registrations will open in the Armidale Mall, 5 shops west of the Armidale Post Office, and after shopping and coffees there will be a welcoming pub meal function from 5.30pm at the Railway Hotel In Rusden Street, Armidale.
Friday 9th March, 2018 : Registrations open all day in the Armidale Mall. Golf will be a stableford event for all comers of all levels, hitting off from 9.30am at the beautiful Armidale Golf Course off the Bundarra Road,
Armidale. No handicap ? Don’t worry, we will give you one. The aim is enjoyment for everyone on a lovely undulating, wooded course with great greens, and a clubhouse with expansive views. In the afternoon there will be the District AGM meeting in Lazenby Hall, UNE. A welcome dinner at the Presbyterian Ladies College in north Armidale (off Crest and Duval Streets) rounds of the day, with welcome drinks, full bar facilities, music, entertainment dancing and that “last club standing” “competition” ! Shuttle buses will run to and from motels and caravan parks as is usual at Conference.
Saturday 10th March, 2018 : A Paul Harris Breakfast at “Booloominbah”, UNE, opens the day, followed by a full day of presentations in Lazenby Hall at the University. Friendship Hall will be under cover adjacent to the Hall, and just beyond it is the “Stro” area for morning teas and lunches. This whole area is situated in a well landscaped series of courtyards, with a great variety of outdoor settings. There will be several outlets for expresso coffee for those wishing to upgrade from Conference tea and coffee ! At 9.30am the Partner’s Coach Tour will depart the Armidale Information Centre, with a local guide taking you to see the Gorge Country, Dangar Falls, Deargee wool shed (by the famous Horbery Hunt), McCrossin’s Mill and Uralla township, with lunch at the Mill. At 6pm the formal Conference Dinner will begin at PLC, Armidale. Pre-dinner drinks and nibbles will be served in the foyer area from 6.15pm, with dinner from 7pm. Shuttle buses will again run to and from motels and caravan parks.
Sunday 11th March, 2018 : Breakfast will be available in the UNE “Stro” area adjacent to Lazenby Hall from 7am, followed by an Ecumenical Service prior to Conference starting at 9am. Keynote speakers and Rotary projects presented, along with a presentation by DGE Lorraine Coffey regarding the 2019 Conference. Farewells to be said shortly after 12 noon so travellers can make and early start for home.

* Bus Tour - Gorges, Historic New England, Uralla - Leaves 9.30am from the Armidale Visitor Information Centre and finishes at 3.00 pm. Light lunch included
* Golf - Will be a 9 hole Stableford event for all-comers , starting at 9.30am at the Armidale Golf Club.
Absolutely all welcome. Don’t have a handicap ? No worries, you will be given one ! The club offers a well-rated, undulating course it’s great greens, lots of shade, and extensive views over Armidale. Two trophies and other prizes to be won! Carts available for hire. See you there !
* Bowls - Social bowls for all will be at. 2pm on Friday 9th of March. All welcome , bowlers and non-bowlers,for an afternoon of fun through barefoot bowls! As well as the more serious kind ! Armidale Bowling Club is just 300 metres from the tourist Information Centre, in. Dumaresq Street, and offers full club facilities, Bistro lunches, snacks and great coffee. Join us for an afternoon of fellowship, and bowls.
