This formally announces our Rotary Badge Day on February 23rd 2012 and asks all clubs to support the initiative to the full. Selling badges at railway stations is one way of handling this but there’s a simpler, more effective way of achieving success. If every club across Australia and New Zealand orders a bag of 100 pins at $3 each, and divides that bag amongst members for sale to friends, family, etc., the net result would be an additional $250,000 coming in for the polio fight. Sure – you can buy the badges on line for 50 cents each but will you? Start: 23/02/2012 00:00

We have received an offer from 20th Century Fox to participate in another pre-release movie night that will once again give us the opportunity to raise considerable amount of money for the $200 Million Challenge. In the past we have spoken about our potential to raise something like $600,000 by encouraging at least half of our Rotarians to attend along with their partners and a couple of friends but the best we’ve been able to manage was $50,000. | ||
