Pacific Training Aid Committee
The aim of PTA is to enhance the skills and ability of the
people in the areas that RAWCS has chosen to help, in order for them
to pass on those skills to others in their country. This includes all
professional and trades areas.
Responsibilities:
To promote PTA in the District
To assist Clubs in working within PTA. This may involve setting
up Project Application Forms to cover Australians visiting other
countries to train the locals, or visa applications etc for
participants visiting Australia for training. This will be in
conjunction with the FAIM Coordinator.
To work with outside bodies to develop arrangements for
training of incoming PTA trainees
To work with outside bodies in providing experts to participate
in PTA activities.
To prepare promotional material.
To authorise, within approved limits, any District subsidies to
be paid to clubs participating in PTA activities.
To work with RAWCS Chairman on Rotary Foundation matching and
other grant applications.
To report to the District RAWCS Committee.
